The list of shipwrecks in 1994 includes all ships sunk, foundered, grounded, or otherwise lost during 1994.

28 September Estline Estonia  Estonia Cruiseferry Sunk Northern Baltic Sea, Car and passenger ferry M/V Estonia the Flag ship for Estonian people left Tallinn 27 September '94 in the evening 19:20 with 1049 passengers on board. She was expected in Stockholm in 16 hours. At 01.24 during the night MV Estonia Crew where sending out Mayday Calls.

She sank after the call.

The most of 1049 persons perished in the heavy cold seas.[2]
